Recognition by the municipal corporation to Maribel González Bautista, of TVT, as Local Media Professional 2025

The Board of Spokespersons has unanimously agreed, with the support of all political groups represented in the Torrevieja City Council, to award Maribel González Bautista the 2025 Local Media Professional Award, now in its fourth year. The three previous recipients were Yolanda Álvarez Amorós (Televisión Torrevieja - TVT), Iñaki Isidro Sánchez (Onda Azul Torrevieja), and Francisco Reyes Prieto Pérez (Semanario Vista Alegre).

Maribel González Bautista has worked at Televisión Torrevieja (TVT) since 1998 as a camera operator and editor. Much of her professional career has been linked to the station's news department, although she has also been responsible for editing many other educational programs during her nearly 30 years at TVT. In addition, since the beginning, Maribel González has regularly covered press conferences held by both the various council members of the governing coalition and the opposition parties represented in the Torrevieja City Council, alongside the TVT reporters.

Maribel is a great professional who is dedicated to her work and who has also shown at all times her friendliness, respect and courtesy to each and every one of the councilors who have been and are part of the municipal corporation in the Torrevieja council.

For all of this, she has been recognized with the "Local Media Professional 2025" award, which will be presented on Wednesday, January 28, at the traditional dinner organized by the local press to present the so-called "Rascasa" and "Salmonete" awards.
