On Friday, January 16, at 8:00 p.m., the painting exhibition "De La Mata and other landscapes" by Joaquin Lescases will open at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center.

The Municipal Institute of Culture “Joaquín Chapaprieta” informs that the painting exhibition 'De La Mata and other landscapes' , by the Orihuela artist Joaquín Lescases, will be inaugurated on Friday, January 16 , at 8:00 p.m. , in the exhibition hall of the 'Virgen del Carmen' Cultural Center .

The areas around Torrevieja and La Mata have been a source of inspiration and learning for Lescases. Their shapes, light, and colors have shaped a significant part of his work and opened doors for him to explore other landscapes and painting styles.  

The exhibition can be visited until Friday, January 30, from Monday to Friday , from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. , and on Saturdays , Sundays and holidays , from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. , in the exhibition hall of the 'Virgen del Carmen' Cultural Center in Torrevieja .
