The Torrevieja Municipal Theatre has added the comedy INFIELES to its March theatre program. This contemporary vaudeville is full of rhythm, doors opening and closing, and situations that are as absurd as they are relatable. The only performance in our city is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, at 8:30 pm.

An adaptation of the celebrated British comedy "Be Unfaithful and Don't Look at Who You're With," by John Chapman and Ray Cooney, INFIELES (Unfaithful) is a production coming to Torrevieja from Melilla. This classic of English vaudeville combines intelligent humor, constant misunderstandings, and a biting critique of bourgeois hypocrisy. The play places the audience in a spiral of lies where no one is exactly who they seem… and where everyone tries to save face at any cost.

The story revolves around Pablo and Carlos, two children's book editors determined to keep their lives as orderly as their publications. However, this balance is shattered when Carlos decides to arrange a secret rendezvous with his lover Eva at his business partner's apartment, unaware that their respective wives, Rosa and Linda, are also hiding their own secrets. From this moment on, chaos reigns.

An eccentric and meddlesome decorator, an unexpected lover, a curious editor, and an all-seeing eye complete an ensemble cast that transforms the situation into a whirlwind of misunderstandings. Frenetic entrances and exits, crossed identities, and improvised lies build a fast-paced and brilliant comedy where being unfaithful proves far more complicated than anticipated.

INFIELES is a show designed for audiences who enjoy fast-paced theater, sharp dialogue, and classic humor, demonstrating why this play continues to captivate audiences decades after its premiere. Furthermore, the show has added value for local audiences, as one of the actors in the cast is from Torrevieja, strengthening the production's connection to the city.

Tickets go on sale this morning, January 23rd at 12:00 pm, on the website www.culturatorrevieja.com and at the Theater Box Office.
