The Department of Equality opens the application period for the "Woman 2026" award

LA CONCEJALÍA DE IGUALDAD ABRE EL PLAZO DE CANDIDATURAS PARA LA DISTINCIÓN “MUJER 2026”
The Women's Day Gala will take place on March 8th, at 12:00 noon, at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center

The Department of Equality is calling on all those interested in submitting applications for the "Woman 2026" award, which can be formalized via email at igualdad@torrevieja.eu until February 13, 2026.

Applications must include the candidate's name, a contact phone number, as well as a description of her career and her personal and/or professional achievements, in addition to her involvement and presence in the social and/or cultural sphere of the city.

The Department of Equality also invites all citizens to attend the Women's Day Gala, which will be held on March 8th at 12:00 noon in the auditorium of the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center. Admission is free until capacity is reached.
