Torrevieja makes progress in improving its Vocational Training offer after a working meeting with the Valencian Government
The Councillor for Education, Ricardo Recuero, held a working meeting with the Director General of Vocational Training of the Valencian Government, Marta Armendia, and with the Secondary Education Inspector, María Ruiz, with the aim of continuing to advance in the improvement and expansion of the city's training offer.
During the meeting, various lines of action aimed at strengthening Vocational Training in Torrevieja were discussed, including the plan to incorporate new Professional Qualification Programs, as well as the future implementation of the Intermediate Degree in Care for People in Situations of Dependency, a qualification with high demand and closely linked to the social and labor needs of the municipality.
Likewise, both administrations continue to work in a coordinated and constant manner on the development of the Integrated Vocational Training Center, a strategic project that will allow the concentration and enhancement of technical and professional training in the city, promoting employability, specialization and adaptation to the labor market.
The Torrevieja City Council views this meeting very positively, as it strengthens institutional collaboration with the Valencian Government and represents a further step forward in the commitment to quality public education, aligned with the educational and professional development opportunities of young people and workers in the municipality.
