EL CENTRO CULTURAL VIRGEN DEL CARMEN ACOGE ESTE DOMINGO, 22 DE FEBRERO, A LAS 18:30 HORAS, UNA PROPUESTA DE CLOWN PARA PÚBLICO FAMILIAR
The 6th cycle of Theatre for All presents the show “SOLO”

The Municipal Institute of Culture “Joaquín Chapaprieta”, through its cultural programming, continues to promote the Theater for All cycle, an initiative that, at least once a month, offers young and old shows full of values such as environmentalism, friendship, respect, love, art and culture, always accompanied by lots of fun.

During Carnival month, the clown will take center stage with the performance of "SOLO," which will take place this coming Sunday, February 22nd, at 6:30 p.m. at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center. The show is recommended for audiences aged 5 and up.

“SOLO” transports us to the clown’s natural habitat: the stage and his audience. But what happens when the artist is left without spectators? The play delves into the intimate space of the dressing room, where the boundaries between person and character blur. In that borderland between the stage and real life, the audience will discover the artist’s inner workings, his ideas and eccentricities, and how he confronts loneliness and routine through imagination and humor.

The production addresses, with sensitivity and humor, loneliness and the "masks" we all use in our daily lives, proposing humor as a tool to reconcile with ourselves.

The show has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Best Actor Award at FETEN 2023 and the Best Clown Show Award at the Zirkólika Awards 2022, establishing itself as one of the most applauded proposals on the family scene.
