Torrevieja will host the 22nd edition of the legal and tax conference on March 27th.
On Friday, March 27, the city of Torrevieja will host the 22nd edition of the Legal and Tax Conference, a specialized event for professionals in the legal, tax, business, and administrative fields. The conference will be held at the Hotel Doña Monse starting at 9:00 a.m. The presentation was given by Federico Alarcón, Councilor for the Presidency of the Torrevieja City Council; Maribel Robles, President of the Rotary Club; and Xenia Asseva, coordinator of the Legal and Tax Conference.
These conferences, organized by the Rotary Club Torrevieja, have become established over more than two decades as a benchmark event for updating knowledge in legal and tax matters, as well as a meeting place for professionals who carry out their activity in the legal, fiscal and business field both in the municipality and in the region as a whole.
The main objective of this initiative is to offer practical and high-level training, addressing some of the main regulatory changes that affect professional practice in 2026, as well as promoting the exchange of experiences and networking among specialists in the sector.
PROGRAM OF PRESENTATIONS
The event will feature renowned legal and tax experts who will address highly topical issues. Among the speakers is Juan Elías Margarit Robles, a notary from Torrevieja, who will analyze the latest developments in notarial practice, offering an up-to-date perspective on the changes affecting the daily work of legal professionals.
Also speaking will be Óscar Presa González, senior prosecutor of Torrevieja and delegate prosecutor for Human Rights and Democratic Memory, who will address the reform in the organization of the Administration of Justice according to Organic Law 1/2025, a regulation that introduces important modifications in the structure and functioning of the judicial system.
For his part, José Pedro Martín Escolar, director of the National Innovation Centre, will give a presentation focused on innovation and modernization in the field of management and administration, an increasingly relevant aspect in the context of digital transformation of institutions and the legal sector.
The day will conclude with a presentation by Luis Muñiz García, head of the Administrative Secretariat of the Tax Agency Delegation in Alicante, who will analyze the main tax changes planned for 2026, one of the presentations of greatest interest to tax advisors, economists and professionals related to tax management.
The closing ceremony will feature the participation of the mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the Minister of Justice, Transparency and Participation of the Valencian Government, Nuria Martínez Sanchis, who will bring this new edition of the conference to a close.

Registration for the conference includes a working breakfast, lunch, and a certificate of attendance, with the aim of facilitating a professional environment that combines training with the exchange of experiences among the attendees.
