The drafting of the project for the comprehensive renovation of the IES Las Lagunas is now open for tender.
The contract has a base tender budget of 680,709.49 euros (VAT included) and a deadline for drafting the project of six months.

The councillor-secretary of the Local Governing Board of the Torrevieja City Council, Federico Alarcón, has announced the approval of the contract file for the drafting of the project and the direction of the work of the comprehensive remodeling of the IES Las Lagunas, an action that will be developed within the Edificant Plan of the Valencian Government.
This agreement represents a decisive step towards advancing the comprehensive reform of this educational center, one of the most important projects in terms of educational infrastructure for the city of Torrevieja.
The approved contract includes the preparation of the preliminary design, the basic design and the execution design, as well as the technical management of the works and the coordination of safety and health, among other technical work necessary to carry out the reform of the institute.
The base budget for the tender amounts to 680,709.49 euros, including VAT, and will allow the development of all the necessary studies and technical work to define in detail the future remodeling of the educational center.
Among the actions included in the contract are the geotechnical study of the land, the planimetric survey of the existing building, the drafting of the preliminary and execution project, as well as the technical monitoring of the works, the technical direction and the quality control throughout the construction process.
The estimated contract term will be 30 months. Of these, six months will be dedicated to drafting the project, while the construction management phase will extend for the duration of the remodeling work, estimated at a maximum of two years.
In this way, the Torrevieja City Council continues to advance in the modernization of the municipality's educational infrastructure, promoting projects that improve the teaching and learning conditions of the educational community and allow schools to be renovated and adapted to current needs.
