The ceramics exhibition "Chakras: art and energy" opens tomorrow at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center
The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the councilor for Senior Citizens, Inmaculada Montesinos, will inaugurate the ceramics exhibition “Chakras: Art and Energy” tomorrow, Thursday, March 12, at 10:00 a.m. The exhibition showcases the work of students from the Ceramics Workshop taught by Professor Conchi Vaquero, as part of the city's program of activities for senior citizens. The exhibition will be open to the public until April 5, with free admission.
The exhibition presents a selection of ceramic pieces made by the students of the workshop, inspired by the symbolism of the chakras, represented through different colors, shapes and decorative elements that evoke the energy centers of the body and their relationship with balance and personal well-being.
Through this exhibition, the workshop participants showcase the work developed during the course, reflecting both the learning of artisanal ceramic techniques and the personal creativity of each of the authors.
The Department for Senior Citizens continues to support these types of cultural and educational initiatives that contribute to promoting active aging, fostering spaces for learning, creativity and coexistence among the elderly in the municipality.
