CULTURE GALA 2026: THE 4 ELEMENTS

Tomorrow, Friday, March 13, at 8:30 p.m., the Torrevieja International Auditorium will host the 2026 Culture Gala: The 4 Elements, an evening dedicated to celebrating the artistic and cultural talent emerging from the city's municipal schools. The event, free with invitation, is sold out.

The gala is conceived as a grand collective spectacle in which students and teachers from different disciplines participate together, creating a stage proposal that highlights the synergy between the municipal schools.

Throughout the evening, a series of performances will take place, integrating dance, music, painting, and photography, reflecting the talent, creativity, and work developed throughout the year in the municipal schools. The activities will begin even before the main show, as from 7:00 p.m. onwards, the public can enjoy various exhibitions in the lobby, including a belly dancing demonstration and a tai chi performance, as well as an exhibition of photography, painting, and salt-themed art created by the students themselves.

The theme of this year's event revolves around the interaction of the four elements—earth, water, air, and fire—with the world around us, serving as the guiding thread for a stage production designed by stage director Matías Antón in collaboration with the directors of the various schools. In addition to the artistic performance, the gala will include the presentation of awards to outstanding students from each school, recognizing their effort and progress.

The evening will be hosted by the well-known actor and comedian Santi Rodríguez, who will contribute his characteristic sense of humor and will also offer a monologue that will bring to a close a night dedicated to local art and culture.

EVA SORIANO “ENJOYS” IT

On Saturday, March 14, at 8:30 p.m., the International Auditorium will host Eva Soriano with her show "Disfrutona," a monologue that promises a night of laughter and is about to sell out.

Eva Soriano has established herself as one of the most prominent comedians in Spain. With a career spanning television, radio, theater, and stand-up comedy, she has appeared on highly successful programs such as La Resistencia, Tu cara me suena, and Zapeando, in addition to hosting radio shows like Cuerpos Especiales. Her direct style, improvisational skills, and intelligent humor have made her one of the freshest and most recognizable voices in contemporary comedy.

In “Disfrutona,” Soriano presents a monologue that is as absurd as it is hilarious, reflecting on the most ridiculous thoughts we all have at some point. The show starts with a simple idea: that moment when you get out of the shower and start talking to yourself in front of the mirror about anything and everything.

With her boundless energy and spontaneous style, the comedian transforms everyday reflections into a sharp and self-deprecating humor that quickly resonates with the audience. A fresh, irreverent, and highly entertaining stand-up routine that confirms the comedian's current artistic peak.

CASANOVAS ORCHESTRA: FAMILY CONCERTS (S&L)

On Sunday, March 15, at 12:00 noon, the Torrevieja Municipal Theatre will host a concert inspired by the film "The Sound of Music", as part of its Family Concerts series, a musical offering designed for families to enjoy together, presented by the Casanovas Orchestra.

The concert offers a musical journey that combines narration and live music to create a story that will captivate both children and adults. Throughout the show, a selection of the most popular songs from this unforgettable soundtrack will be performed, bringing classical music and musical theater to a family audience.

The evening will also feature the participation of renowned singer María Sabater, whose voice will join the orchestra to perform some of the most emblematic moments of the repertoire.

An educational, exciting and music-filled proposal designed to bring the symphonic universe closer to new audiences and turn Sunday morning into a cultural experience for the whole family.
