The Torrevieja City Council will hold the 3rd Educational Guidance Fair on March 24, 25 and 26 at the International Auditorium, with the aim of offering students a broad, close and realistic view of the different academic, training and professional options available to them.

The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the councilor for Education, Ricardo Recuero, will inaugurate this third edition of the fair on Tuesday, March 24, at 10:00 a.m.

For three days, the exhibition will once again become a great meeting place for students, educational centers, universities, guidance and employability entities, as well as security and emergency services, making it easier for young people to learn firsthand about different alternatives to decide their future with more information and greater security.

This year's event will feature students from Torrevieja's IES Libertas, IES Las Lagunas, IES Mare Nostrum, IES Mediterráneo, IES Torrevigía, IES Eras de la Sal (Torrevigía Section), and CC La Purísima. In addition, it will feature a prominent representation of educational stands, including IES Libertas, IES Las Lagunas, IES Mare Nostrum, IES Playa Flamenca, IES Los Alcores, IES Los Montesinos and IES Paco Ruiz de Bigastro.

In the university field, the following will be present: Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), University of Alicante (UA), UNED of Torrevieja, UCAM and University of Murcia.

The program is complemented by the presence of the National Police, the Torrevieja Local Police, the Provincial Council Fire Department and the Civil Guard, who will introduce students to different career paths related to public service, security and citizen assistance.

In addition to visiting the stands, the program includes the official presentation of the fair and several educational orientation talks, combined with exhibitions and participation of the security forces in the outdoor area of the venue.

With this initiative, the Torrevieja City Council reaffirms its commitment to education and to supporting students at a crucial moment in their personal, academic and professional development, consolidating this fair as a useful tool to help young people look to the future with more resources, more confidence and more opportunities.

The Councillor for Education emphasized that “this fair represents a fantastic opportunity for our young people to learn firsthand, all in one place, about the wide range of educational, training, and professional opportunities available to them. The City Council continues to support initiatives that guide, support, and help students make important decisions about their future.”
