The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the councilor for Education, Ricardo Recuero, attended the fair this morning, which for three days (March 24, 25 and 26), once again becomes a great meeting place for students, educational centers, universities, guidance and employability entities, as well as security and emergency services, making it easier for young people to learn firsthand about different alternatives to decide their future with more information and greater security.

This third edition includes students from Torrevieja's IES Libertas, IES Las Lagunas, IES Mare Nostrum, IES Mediterráneo, IES Torrevigía, IES Eras de la Sal (Torrevigía Section), and Colegio Concertado La Purísima. In addition, there is a strong presence of educational stands, including those from IES Libertas, IES Las Lagunas, IES Mare Nostrum, IES Playa Flamenca, IES Los Alcores, IES Los Montesinos, and IES Paco Ruiz de Bigastro. From the university sector, the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), the University of Alicante (UA), the UNED of Torrevieja, UCAM, and the University of Murcia are represented, as well as organizations linked to career guidance, training, and employability, such as the CIAJ of Torrevieja, the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, INSERTA Fundación ONCE, the Official Language School of Torrevieja, the EPA Adult Education Center of Torrevieja, LABORA, IMEP and ESATUR Formación, Davante Elche, De Aquí Para Fuera, and AIRCO Aeronautical Studies Center.

The program is complemented by the presence of the National Police, the Torrevieja Local Police, the Provincial Council Fire Department and the Civil Guard, who introduce students to different career paths related to public service, security and citizen assistance.

In addition to visiting the stands, the program includes the official presentation of the fair and several educational orientation talks, combined with exhibitions and participation of the security forces in the outdoor area of the venue.

With this initiative, the Torrevieja City Council reaffirms its commitment to education and to supporting students at a crucial moment in their personal, academic and professional development, consolidating this fair as a useful tool to help young people look to the future with more resources, more confidence and more opportunities.

The City Council continues to support initiatives that guide, support, and help students make important decisions about their future.”
