The Virgen del Carmen cultural center celebrates World Circus Day with the show "La Premiere"
The Municipal Institute of Culture “Joaquín Chapaprieta”, through its cultural programming, continues to promote the Theater for All cycle, an initiative that, at least once a month, offers young and old shows full of values such as environmentalism, friendship, respect, love, art and culture, always accompanied by lots of fun.
To mark World Circus Day, the program includes the show “LA PREMIERE” by the Teatrapo company, which will be performed next Sunday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center. The performance is recommended for audiences aged 5 and up.
“LA PREMIERE” tells the story of four artists with completely opposite personalities who face the challenge of taking to the stage. Through comedic language and a carefully crafted theatrical structure that incorporates circus techniques, the characters emotionally “undress” to embody the roles they will play, revealing their anxieties, differences, and shared experiences to the audience.
The show combines humor, theater and circus in a dynamic and engaging performance that invites reflection on coexistence, diversity and teamwork, without sacrificing fun.
