Aguilera and Mení: Mission Impro-sible

This coming Friday, April 24, at 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 25, at 8:00 p.m., the Torrevieja International Auditorium will host Aguilera and Mení: Mission Impro-sible , a show that has sold out for both performances.

The comedians from Cadiz, known for their large presence on social media and their millions of views, present a proposal full of improvisation, rhythm and absurd humor that connects directly with the public.

The story revolves around twin brothers who, in an attempt to escape poverty, decide to infiltrate a secret organization with the goal of stealing a jewel. Throughout the show, they must overcome various challenges guided by a mysterious voice, though their limited abilities lead to constant chaos and humor.

The show combines monologues, parodies and, above all, a strong interaction with the audience, a key element that makes each performance a unique and unrepeatable experience.

Spanish Fantasy

On Saturday, April 25, at 8:30 p.m., the Torrevieja Municipal Theatre will host Fantasía Española , a dance performance for all ages that offers a journey through the rich cultural and musical heritage of Spain. It will be the perfect occasion to celebrate International Dance Day.

The work is performed by the Spanish Ballet of Murcia, a company with more than 40 years of experience, and produced by the renowned company OPERA 2001, a benchmark in the dissemination of opera and dance internationally.

On stage, ten dancers will bring to life a colorful, rhythmic and emotional performance that invites the viewer to travel through the different expressions of Spanish dance.

The show is built on compositions by great masters such as Manuel de Falla, Joaquín Rodrigo or Isaac Albéniz, along with pieces of popular music, creating an accessible and attractive experience for audiences of all ages.

Parallel Madness

On Sunday, April 26, at 7:00 p.m., the Municipal Theater will host Parallel Madness , an intelligent, provocative and surprising comedy that combines humor, emotion and reflection in an original stage approach.

The story intertwines, in a dreamlike, unreal yet plausible way, the lives of two couples: Guillermo and Luz, on one hand; Leticia and Gabriel, on the other. By a twist of fate, Gabriel and Luz cross the boundary of reality and find themselves in an impossible space where encounters, as disconcerting as they are inevitable, begin to repeat themselves, in a parallel universe where the rules cease to have meaning. As they try to understand what is happening, both characters embark on a process that will lead them to question their own decisions.

The production features four performers with solid and acclaimed careers. Leading the cast is Dafne Fernández, known for her popularity in Un paso adelante and for her roles in series such as Tierra de lobos and Chiringuito de Pepe , as well as her theatrical work in titles like Una historia de amor y miedo and Tres chicas y un problema.

Alongside her, Sergio Mur has developed a distinguished career in theater with productions such as Salomé at the Mérida Festival, Antigone at the Teatro Español or the Spanish version of Closer , combining his work with appearances in series such as Gran Reserva or Las chicas del cable .

The cast is rounded out by Diana Palazón, who boasts extensive stage experience in plays such as Divinas palabras , La cocina , and Los pazos de Ulloa , and a solid television career in series like Hospital Central and Desaparecidos . Alongside her, Fernando Andina brings his experience in theatrical productions such as Aspirina para dos and Tierra de nadie , as well as his appearances in series like Amar es para siempre and Sueños de libertad.

The stage production is complemented by a top-level artistic team, with set design and costumes by Juan Sanz, lighting by Raúl Baena and Eduardo Vizuete, and original music by Juanfran Padilla.

The play, produced by Secuencia 3, is written by Gabriela García and directed by Paco Mir, a founding member of Tricicle and one of the most recognized creators on the Spanish stage scene, with more than four decades of experience and two Max awards.

Parallel Madness is also the winning text of the Sequence 3 International Playwriting Competition, in which 128 works from 10 countries participated, consolidating itself as a fresh, original proposal with great stage potential.
