The Torrevieja City Council is putting out to tender the redevelopment works for phase 1 of the Casa Grande industrial estate, with an investment of almost 2 million euros.

The project, with a seven-month execution period, will allow for the renewal and adaptation of road infrastructure and paving, the improvement of urban service networks, and the increase in the safety and functionality of public space.

The Local Governing Board of the Torrevieja City Council has approved the contract file, the corresponding expenditure, the explanatory memorandum, the technical data sheet and the technical specifications and administrative clauses for the execution of the redevelopment works of Phase I of the Casa Grande Industrial Estate, which are now being put out to tender through a simplified open procedure and ordinary processing.

The base budget for this project amounts to 1,981,001 euros (VAT included) , with a planned execution period of seven months , which will begin after the signing of the work layout report.

The Casa Grande Industrial Park is a strategic infrastructure for the economic and productive development of Torrevieja, serving as the main area dedicated to business and industrial activity in the municipality. Currently, its infrastructure suffers from functional and structural deficiencies that affect accessibility, urban service networks, and road and pedestrian safety, necessitating a comprehensive modernization project.

The actions planned in this first phase will allow the renewal and adaptation of road infrastructure and paving, improve urban service networks and increase the safety and functionality of public space, also guaranteeing technical coherence with the later phases of the overall redevelopment project of the industrial park.

The contract will be multi-year (2026/2027), with a projected investment of 450,000 euros in 2026 and 1,531,001 euros in 2027 , which will allow the works to be carried out with the necessary planning to ensure their proper completion.

With the launch of this first phase of the tender, the Torrevieja City Council continues to modernize its industrial park and increase the improvement of the municipality's productive infrastructure, committed to generating employment, strengthening the business fabric and consolidating a more competitive, safe environment prepared for economic growth.
