There are voices that not only describe the evolution of the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem, but also embody it. And one of the most prominent is undoubtedly that of Enrique Linares, co-founder of Letgo, one of the great success stories of technological entrepreneurship to emerge from Spain and hailed as the first Spanish unicorn by various media outlets and professional profiles. In this new phase of his career, Linares is leading Plus Partners, a firm through which he supports and invests in the next generation of startups.

In this new CEEI Valencia Restless Breakfast, Enrique will share: from the challenges of creating and scaling an internationally impactful startup, to the learning involved in taking the leap to the other side of the table to become an investor.

Enrique worked at Terra and Simyo before founding the fintech company Captalis in 2019. He started LetGo (an app for buying and selling secondhand goods) in 2014, which quickly became a success in Turkey and the United States. In 2017, it became the first unicorn founded by a Spaniard and based in Spain. Later, he acquired Wallapop's US division and eventually the rest of the company from OfferUp.

And since 2024 he has been involved in Plus Partners, the fund that has raised 50 million euros for seed startups .
