Classical theatre, ABBA's greatest hits, a zarzuela, and the humor of Comandante Lara

On Saturday, June 6, at 8:00 p.m., the Torrevieja Municipal Theatre will host A View from the Bridge , one of Arthur Miller's most emblematic works, considered one of the great tragedies of contemporary theatre.

The story is set in an Italian-American community in 1950s Brooklyn and revolves around Eddie Carbone, a longshoreman whose life changes with the arrival of two undocumented immigrants in his home. From there, the story unfolds an intense emotional conflict marked by jealousy, desire, loyalty, and guilt.

This new version especially enhances the passionate drama and irrational behavior of its characters, while maintaining all the dramatic force and humanity of the original text.

The production features a distinguished cast headed by José Luis García-Pérez, recognized for his career in film, television and theater; as well as María Adánez, one of the most popular actresses on the national scene thanks to series such as Aquí no hay quien viva , La que se avecina or Amar en tiempos revueltos , in addition to an extensive theater career.

The cast is completed by Ana Garcés, currently known for her television work; as well as other big names in the world of theater, such as Guillermo de los Santos, Rodrigo Poisón, Francesc Galcerán, Manuel de Andrés and Pedro Orenes.

ESSENTIAL: The Music of ABBA

On Saturday, June 6, at 9:00 p.m., the Torrevieja International Auditorium will host ESSENCIAL: The Music of ABBA , a tribute show that revives the greatest hits of one of the most iconic bands in pop history.

Through live vocals, careful staging and costumes faithful to the original, the show proposes a musical journey through universal songs such as Dancing Queen , Mamma Mia or Waterloo , in a dynamic experience designed for all audiences.

The show seeks to connect with both the Swedish group's long-standing fans and new generations, offering a proposal full of nostalgia, energy and participation.

In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy "La Previa" beforehand, a gastronomic experience in the form of a cocktail dinner with wine pairing, available exclusively to those who have a ticket for the concert and with limited places.

Zarzuela “Marina”

On Sunday, June 7th, at 7:00 pm, the Torrevieja Municipal Theatre will host a performance of the zarzuela Marina , one of the most recognized and beloved works of the Spanish lyric repertoire.

Set in the coastal town of Lloret de Mar, the story tells of the unspoken love between Marina and Jorge, raised as siblings since childhood. The arrival of Pascual and a series of misunderstandings fueled by jealousy and secrets will unleash an intense emotional conflict.

With a narrative marked by emotion, romanticism and Spanish musical tradition, Marina continues to be one of the great references of zarzuela, conquering generation after generation.

Commander Lara & Co.: Travel with Us

On Sunday, June 7th, at 7:00 PM, the Torrevieja International Auditorium will host Comandante Lara with his show Viaje con Nosotros (Travel with Us ), accompanied by Vicente Ruidos and Jesús Tapia.

The proposal transforms the theater into a genuine flight to the "land of laughter," where the audience will receive safety instructions before embarking on a succession of jokes, improvisations, and absurd situations full of humor.

With his approachable, popular and casual style, Comandante Lara has established himself as one of the most followed comedians on the national scene, selling out tickets in numerous theaters throughout Spain thanks to a direct humor that is very connected with the public.
