The municipal outdoor swimming pools open for the summer season next Monday, June 8th.

The Sports Department of Torrevieja City Council, headed by Diana Box Alonso, announces the opening of the Municipal Outdoor Swimming Pools at the Sports Complex next Monday, June 8, kicking off a new summer season in which residents and visitors can enjoy facilities designed for leisure, physical activity and outdoor sports.

Users will be able to enjoy two distinct spaces: the 25-meter Outdoor Pool, intended for both training and recreational swimming, and the Outdoor Recreational Pool, designed for family enjoyment and leisure swimming during the summer months.

EXTENDED HOURS TO FACILITATE ACCESS FOR ALL USERS

The 25-meter outdoor pool will have adapted opening hours to accommodate both sports and recreational use. From Monday to Friday, it will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, it will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Saturdays, the hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Outdoor Recreational Pool will be available from Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 14:30 and from 16:00 to 21:00, while on Saturdays it will be open from 09:30 to 19:00 and on Sundays from 09:30 to 13:00.

AFFORDABLE RATES AND DISCOUNTS FOR NUMEROUS GROUPS

With the aim of promoting sports practice, the Department of Sports maintains affordable rates for all users.

Individual admission will cost 3 euros, while the reduced rate will be 2 euros for those groups that can take advantage of the established discounts.

Additionally, a combined pass for 20 accesses to the Swimming Pool and Gym is offered for 40 euros, which is reduced to 20 euros for users benefiting from the discounts provided.

The discounts are aimed at large families, single-parent families, holders of the Youth Card, people over 60 years of age, people with a disability equal to or greater than 33%, victims of gender violence and victims of terrorism.

Interested users will be able to purchase both individual tickets and different season tickets conveniently and quickly through the Torrevieja Deportes digital platform, thus facilitating access to the facilities and avoiding waiting times.

The Department of Sports encourages all citizens to enjoy these municipal facilities, which every summer become one of the most used spaces in the Sports City, offering a healthy, accessible and safe alternative to combat the high temperatures and promote active lifestyle habits among people of all ages.
