The exhibition marks the culmination of nine months of artistic training and will allow the young artists to showcase their work to the public for the first time.

The Municipal School of Painting will inaugurate the exhibition "Nature" tomorrow, Thursday, July 9, at 7:00 p.m., a show featuring the children's students of the center that can be visited in the Exhibition Hall of the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center until August 14.

The exhibition brings together the works created by the students during the 2025/2026 academic year under the direction of the visual artist and teacher Marián M. Cañizares, highlighting the work developed throughout the academic year and the artistic evolution achieved by the young participants.

Entitled "Nature," the exhibition offers a journey through the diverse interpretations children make of the world around them. Each work represents a unique and personal vision of the concept of nature, resulting in a collection of creations brimming with imagination, spontaneity, and sensitivity, where landscapes, everyday scenes, animals, marine elements, and compositions born from children's creativity coexist.

The paintings were created using acrylic and tempera on large-format canvases (50 x 70 centimeters), a particularly significant creative challenge for many of the students, who faced the challenge of working on surfaces of this size for the first time. The result is a collection of works with their own distinct character, highlighting each participant's artistic expression and the effort they put in throughout the creative process.

The exhibition is also the result of nine months of learning, during which the students have worked on fundamental aspects of artistic training such as obtaining the entire chromatic range from the primary colors, the study of the stain, the stroke, color in motion and the construction of the figure, essential tools to develop their own plastic language.

Professor Marián M. Cañizares wanted to highlight the children's natural ability to imagine, create and learn, thanking the entire group for their commitment, sensitivity and involvement throughout the course.

The "Nature" exhibition invites residents and visitors to enjoy a journey full of color, freshness and imagination through the eyes of the youngest, becoming an excellent opportunity to discover the talent developed at the Municipal School of Painting and support the work done by its students.
