Low Festival kicks off its first edition tomorrow in Torrevieja with Kasabian, Love of Lesbian, The Hives, Dani Fernández and much more
The countdown is over. Low Festival kicks off its first edition tomorrow in Torrevieja: three days of non-stop music and an expected 20,000 attendees each day, in a 15,000 square meter grassy area next to the Mediterranean and the salt lagoons that define the city.
The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, along with the councilor for Youth, Domingo Paredes , and the promoter of the Low Festival and CEO of Producciones Baltimore, José Piñero , visited this morning the venue where the festival will be held on July 31, August 1 and 2, in the Antonio Soria Park.
Kasabian, The Hives, Fangoria, Dani Fernández, and Editors, among others, headline the festival, though the most anticipated act is Love of Lesbian, who will take to the Low Festival stage as part of their farewell tour. Joining them is a lineup of over 50 acts, including Ginebras, Ladilla Rusa, Ultraligera, Natalia Lacunza, Carlos Ares, and Iván Ferreiro.
Three days of music with four stages — Vibra Mahou, ElPozo King UPP, Radio 3 and ESC_ —, in a venue designed for the complete enjoyment of the public, with a food truck area with a wide variety of gastronomic proposals suitable for celiacs, vegans and vegetarians, including crepes, hamburgers, Mexican, Greek or Asian flavors.
The festival also maintains its 100% autonomous waste collection system and vacuum toilets, which reduce water consumption by 90% thanks to Toi Toi's John Privy technology. These initiatives solidify Low's position as one of the most environmentally conscious festivals in Spain, as evidenced by the EventSost certification, which recognizes its commitment to sustainability and reducing the event's environmental impact.
Furthermore, the solidarity of #Low2026 is also present in this edition: the proceeds from the invitations will be entirely allocated to two entities in Torrevieja: AFA Torrevieja (Alzheimer's Family Association) and Afecáncer (Association of Relatives and Cancer Patients).
With the festival underway, Torrevieja is already buzzing with festival spirit in its streets and on its beaches. The city is preparing to welcome thousands of attendees, not only from Torrevieja and the surrounding area but also from Murcia, Madrid, Valencia, and other parts of Spain. These visitors will have a direct impact on the local economy and will be able to discover and enjoy the unique setting where music, sea, and good vibes come together once again. Low Festival may change cities, but its spirit remains the same.
More than a festival
To facilitate access to the venue, the organizers are maintaining an official shuttle service, with round-trip routes from Alicante, Valencia, Murcia, Benidorm, Calpe, Cartagena, Crevillente, La Mata, Mil Palmeras, La Zenia, Dénia, Elche, Mazarrón, and Orihuela. There will also be a free shuttle service within the city of Torrevieja itself. Those who prefer to travel by car have direct access from the AP-7 motorway, with free parking available next to the venue offering more than 2,000 spaces.
