The San Roque neighborhood festivities will offer eight days of children's activities, music, dance, gastronomy and tradition

The Councillor for Festivals of the Torrevieja City Council, Rosario Martínez, has announced the full program to celebrate the Popular Festivals of the San Roque Neighborhood 2026, which will take place from Sunday 9 to Sunday 16 of August with children's activities, musical and dance performances, contests, gastronomic gatherings and the traditional religious acts in honor of the patron saint.

For eight days, residents and visitors can enjoy a program designed for all ages, especially families. Children's entertainment will be a major focus, along with performances by local academies and associations, DJ sets, prize draws, and popular events such as the summer carnival, the paella competition, and the giant paella.

The celebration will culminate on Sunday, August 16, the feast of Saint Roch, with Holy Mass, the procession in honor of Saint Roch and Saint Anne and the traditional fireworks display.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 9

The festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a children's entertainment session led by María José Soriano, which will include a "Little Disco" and games with Smurfette the Clown. Afterwards, a free snack will be offered to participating children, while supplies last.

At 8:30 p.m., the Soul Dance Cultural Association will perform. At 10:00 p.m., a raffle will be held to benefit the San Roque neighborhood festival, and at 11:30 p.m., DJ Rafa will perform.

MONDAY, AUGUST 10

The program continues at 7:30 p.m. with children's entertainment and water games led by María José Soriano. At 10:00 p.m., a raffle will be held to benefit the festivities, and at 11:30 p.m., artist Adrián Ruiz will perform a repertoire of pop and Latin music hits reimagined in flamenco and rumba styles.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 11

At 7:30 p.m., María José Soriano will lead another afternoon of children's entertainment with the "TikTok Star" activity. At 8:30 p.m., the Ángela Esteban Dance Academy will take the stage. The day will continue at 10:00 p.m. with a prize raffle and will conclude at 11:30 p.m. with a performance by DJ Rafa.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12

The day will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a "Unicorn Party" and musical games for children, led by María José Soriano. At 8:30 p.m., there will be a performance of oriental and traditional dance directed by Paula M. Salgado. At 10:00 p.m., the usual prize raffle will take place, and at 11:30 p.m., DJ Elías will perform a set of music and entertainment.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 13

At 7:30 p.m., the children's program continues with a "Tattoo Party" led by María José Soriano. At 10:00 p.m., a raffle will be held to benefit the festivities, and starting at 11:30 p.m., DJ Fredy Vidal will perform.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14

One of the most popular events will take place at 7:30 p.m. with the summer carnival parade and competition. Registration can be completed at the carnival tent. At 10:00 p.m., there will be another prize draw, and at 11:30 p.m., the Grand Foam Party will begin, with music provided by resident DJ LICOS.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 15: PAELLA COMPETITION AND GREAT DAY

The culinary event will begin at 12:00 noon with the Paella Competition, for which registration will take place at the festival tent. At 1:30 p.m., the Giant Paella Day will be celebrated, with paella available at affordable prices, coinciding with Members' Day. The menu will consist of a plate of paella, bread, and a drink. At 2:00 p.m., the judges will begin evaluating the paellas participating in the competition.

The afternoon program will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a new children's entertainment session led by María José Soriano, which will include "Peque Disco" and games with Rumi "Huntrix." At 8:30 p.m., the prizes for the Paella Contest and the summer parade will be awarded. At 10:00 p.m., the prize draw will take place, coinciding with the traditional "Night of the Six Hams."

The day will end at 11:30 p.m. with a performance by the group Siempre Disco, who will offer disco music hits from the 70s to the present day, accompanied by dancers and entertainment.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16: FEAST OF SAINT ROCH

The main day of the festivities will begin with the opening of the bar between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., offering a free tapa with each drink. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 p.m., followed at 8:30 p.m. by the procession in honor of Saint Roch and Saint Anne. The traditional fireworks display will conclude the procession.

At 10:30 p.m., the final raffle for the San Roque neighborhood festival will be held, with three double prizes up for grabs. The program will conclude at midnight with a performance by DJ Elías.
