Torrevieja Culture presents its program for the last four months of 2026 after exceeding 78,000 spectators this year

The program from September to December includes 90 events and expects to bring together more than 40,000 attendees, with the goal of closing 2026 by exceeding 120,000 spectators.

The Councillor for Culture of the Torrevieja City Council, Antonio Quesada, accompanied by the Torrevieja Culture team, presented this morning the cultural program for the months of September to December 2026, a wide and varied offer that includes concerts, theatre, dance, flamenco, musicals, children's shows, magic, humor and numerous proposals promoted both by Torrevieja Culture and by the cultural entities of the municipality.

The new season will bring together some of the most outstanding artists and shows on the national scene, including Malú, Sara Baras, Diana Navarro, Ismael Serrano, Dani Martínez, Goyo Jiménez, Luis Piedrahita, José Luis Calero, David Fernández and José Corbacho, in addition to major productions such as DJ Symphonic Latino , the opera The Magic Flute , the ballet The Nutcracker or the commemorative concert of the 60th anniversary of Mocedades together with Los Panchos .

So far this year, the Torrevieja Municipal Theatre and International Auditorium have consolidated their excellent position, already exceeding 78,000 spectators , with more than twenty shows that have sold out and a high audience turnout for practically all the programmed events.

Looking ahead to the last four months of the year, Cultura Torrevieja has programmed 90 events , with an expected attendance of nearly 40,000 people . December alone will feature 26 performances at the Municipal Theatre and the International Auditorium, with the goal of exceeding 120,000 spectators by the end of the year.

The Director of Culture for Torrevieja highlighted during the presentation that the main challenge at the moment "is finding some free dates on the calendar," reflecting the intense pace of cultural activity in the city and the great reception the program is receiving.

Torrevieja Culture also strengthens its digital presence

The growth of Cultura Torrevieja is also reflected in the area of communication. Over the last six months, the website has registered more than 150,000 visits , while social media continues to increase its reach and community of followers.

On Facebook, more than 350 new followers have been added, currently reaching 12,347 followers , while Instagram has experienced a growth of 1,015 new followers , already exceeding the 10,000 follower mark.

In addition, the videos posted on Facebook have accumulated around 113,000 views , while the total content disseminated by Cultura Torrevieja on social media has exceeded one million views during the last six months.

SEPTEMBER

The cultural program for the next four months begins with the eleventh edition of the Torrevieja Audiovisual Short Film Festival, presenting a carefully curated selection of works that combine emerging talent with established directors from the film industry. Following this, comedian José Luis Calero will present his show , Humorista de Guardia (Comedian on Duty ).

Pianist Borja Niso will also return with his tribute to Ludovico Einaudi, the eighth edition of Trollea , the National Role-Playing and Live Role-Playing Days, will take place, and Sara Baras will return to Torrevieja with Infinita , a show conceived as a tribute to Andalusian heritage. The month will be rounded out with the 18th "Torrevieja and the Sea" Conference Series and the 38th Torrevieja International Choral Festival.

OCTOBER

October will kick off with the International Day of Older Persons Gala and the Remember show by Dani Martínez. The month will also feature the Generation of '27 International Congress, the La Salada History of the Lagoons theatrical tour, the start of the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra season, and the DJ Symphonic Latino show.

In addition, Diana Navarro , Goyo Jiménez and Ismael Serrano will perform, and new editions of Flamenco & Sal , Viernes de Palacio , the Torrerífico festival and the XX Encuentro Flamenco Ciudad de Torrevieja will be held, among many other proposals.

NOVEMBER

The program will continue with the Ars Creatio Science Week, the comedy Infieles , the children's musical Tadeo Jones and the Magic Lamp , the return of Brothers in Band , the opera The Magic Flute , the III Francisco Casanovas Young Talents Competition, the Santa Cecilia concerts and the performances of Luis Piedrahita and the duo formed by David Fernández and José Corbacho .

DECEMBER

The season will culminate with some of the most anticipated shows of the year, including the Malú concert, the ballet The Nutcracker , the children's show Pica-Pica , the Alabama Gospel Choir concert, the musical comedy No me toques el cuento , the revue La Sal de Torrevieja and the 60th anniversary concert of Mocedades together with Los Panchos , which will put the finishing touch on the cultural program of 2026.

EXHIBITION HALLS

The program will be rounded out with a diverse range of exhibitions at the Vista Alegre Gallery and the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, which will host watercolor, painting, and photography exhibitions throughout the season. Highlights include shows by José Miguel Maciá, Conchi Vaquero Mercader, José Andreu, Alfonso López Hurtado, and Catlin Schlosser Bautista, as well as the traditional Quick Painting Competition and the exhibition "La Alcudia: Like Your Story."
