Torrevieja City Council reorganizes the program for August 15th

The Department of Festivals, in collaboration with the Torrevieja Carnival Association, has decided that the traditional Summer Parade will not be part of this year's festival program, which was scheduled to take place on August 15th.

The decision is mainly due to the high temperatures that are usually recorded at that time of year, with the aim of ensuring the safety and well-being of both the participants and the attending public.

Added to this is the coincidence, that same night, with the Leiva concert within the Brilla Torrevieja festival, as well as with the celebration of the traditional San Roque festivities, circumstances that entail a significant security, mobility and coordination of personnel.

The Torrevieja City Council thanks residents, groups and visitors for their understanding, reiterating its commitment to continue promoting festive activities that can be carried out under the best organizational conditions.
