Registration is now open for Spanish courses aimed at international residents
The Department of International Residents of Torrevieja City Council has opened registration for a new edition of Spanish courses for international residents registered in the city. Those interested can submit their applications until Tuesday, September 15th, and classes are scheduled to begin in October.
The training will be provided by the Be Magic academy, which will offer content adapted to the initial and intermediate levels, with the purpose of improving the linguistic skills of the participants in both oral and written expression.
The main objective of this municipal initiative is to provide foreign residents in Torrevieja with the necessary tools to communicate effectively in Spanish, both in everyday situations and in the professional field.
The Councillor for International Residents, Gitte Lund, highlighted that “knowledge of the language is a fundamental tool for being able to function independently, access services, interact with other people and fully participate in the social life of Torrevieja,” and added that “these courses reflect the reality of an open, diverse and international city and allow us to continue advancing in the integration of all the people who have chosen Torrevieja as a place to live.”
