The application period for municipal aid for school and computer equipment is now open.
The Torrevieja City Council, through the Department of Education, has kept open until October 14th the deadline to apply for municipal aid intended for the acquisition of school and computer equipment for the 2026/2027 school year.
The call is aimed at students enrolled in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) in public or subsidized educational centers.
The aid may reach a maximum amount of 200 euros per student, depending on the family's per capita income and the score obtained according to the scale established in the terms of the call.
The purpose of these subsidies is to help families in Torrevieja with the expenses related to the start of the school year, partially financing both the purchase of school supplies and computer equipment for educational use.

Among the main requirements established in the call for applications is that the family unit is registered and resides in Torrevieja, with a minimum seniority of two years before the end of the application period.

In cases of separation or divorce, the registration and residency requirements will apply to the parent who has been granted custody.
The grants will be awarded through a competitive process, with applications assessed according to the established criteria and paying particular attention to per capita family income and socio-family circumstances. The amount awarded may never exceed the actual expenses incurred and documented by the family.
Applications should preferably be submitted electronically through the Torrevieja City Council's website. Information, application forms, and the complete terms and conditions of the call for proposals can be found at www.torrevieja.es, in the Grants and Subsidies section.
