Torrevieja dedicates four nights to jazz with the "Palace Fridays" series

The Municipal Institute of Culture "Joaquín Chapaprieta" presents a new edition of the "Palace Fridays" series, which will bring together Pau Viguer Trio, Power of Three, Saúl Jazz Band and Aranjuez Jazz Band in four evenings dedicated to jazz at the Palace of Music.

The concerts will be held on October 16, 23, and 30, and November 13, all at 8:00 p.m., with a single price of 5 euros per performance. The program offers a variety of jazz interpretations, from contemporary works to classic standards, in an intimate setting that fosters a close connection between the musicians and the audience.

Tickets for all four concerts can be purchased starting tomorrow, Saturday, October 3, at 12:00 PM, exclusively online at www.bacantix.com . The price will be €5 per concert. Due to the limited capacity of the Palacio de la Música, advance purchase is recommended.

With this program, the Municipal Institute of Culture expands the autumn musical offering and facilitates access to live music, both for fans of the genre and for those who wish to approach its rhythms, melodies and improvisations for the first time.

PROGRAMMING

PAU VIGUER TRIO : ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS AND MEDITERRANEAN-INSPIRED JAZZ

Pau Viguer Trio will inaugurate the cycle on Friday, October 16, with a contemporary jazz proposal in which their own compositions occupy a prominent place.

Led by Valencian pianist and composer Pau Viguer, the group develops a musical language that blends jazz with influences from classical music, pop, blues, and flamenco. This fusion of styles lends variety and personality to their repertoire. Among the highlights of their career is their selection for the 2017 JazzEñe showcase, organized by the SGAE Foundation, with their work Muy delicado (Very Delicate).

POWER OF THREE : ENERGY AND EXPRESSIVENESS LIVE

The second event will take place on Friday, October 23, with Power of Three, a group that the cycle's program presents for the strength and virtuosity of their live performance.

Their performance will bring a proposal focused on interpretive energy, offering the public a new perspective on the genre within the four evenings of "Palace Fridays".

SAÚL JAZZ BAND : A JOURNEY THROUGH JAZZ CLASSICS

On Friday, October 30th, it will be the turn of Saúl Jazz Band, who will offer a journey through classic standards and the warm sounds of jazz.

The group will bring the genre's traditional repertoire to the public through a rhythmic performance. It will be an opportunity to enjoy the melodies and expressive resources that have made these classics an essential part of jazz music.

ARANJUEZ JAZZ BAND : TRADITION AND FUSION TO CLOSE THE CYCLE

Aranjuez Jazz Band will close the program on Friday, November 13, with the dynamic and immersive character of their proposal.

Formed in Aranjuez in 2020, the band brings together musicians with diverse backgrounds and training in fields such as classical music, flamenco, big bands, and modern jazz. Their identity stems from classic jazz and embraces fusion with other styles, including Latin jazz and flamenco, resulting in a diverse and vibrant repertoire.
