The members of the Salt Court 2026/2027 have been presented
The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, together with the councilor for Festivals, Rosario Martínez, have announced the jury's decision to choose the young women from Torrevieja, Alba Egea Moya, Laura María Cases Martínez and Yanira Berge Martínez as candidates for Queen and Ladies of Salt 2026/2027.
This past weekend, the six candidates met with the current Salt Court and the jury to select the three members of the next court. Through personal interviews and various activities, the jury got to know these young women and chose the three who will now form the 2026/2027 Salt Court.
The jury's final decision will be announced, as is tradition, at the Torrevieja Municipal Theatre on Saturday, November 14, where the current Salt Queen, Daniela Gómez Navarro, and her Ladies-in-Waiting, Miriam Córdoba Prades and Sara Toribio Sánchez, will say goodbye.
The Councillor for Festivals has indicated that the other candidates have not been publicly named so that they may apply again in the future if they wish. It has also been announced that the members of the jury will be revealed at the Proclamation Gala for the new Salt Festival Court.
