The Councilor for Sports has highlighted this tournament as an "opportunity for young athletes to interact with older athletes, in a nexus of union and harmony between the different generations that come together in this tennis open."
Following the previous editions in this Tournament, from the smallest to the oldest, they will be able to participate in the categories of Benjamin, Alevín, Infantil, Junior, Absolute, and the Veterans category is recovered in this edition. The tournament is eligible for the official RFET ranking.
Zulueta wanted to highlight the great support they are having from the sponsors, with the incorporation of new local and provincial companies. In the words of the tournament director “we have lost some of our longest-standing sponsors due to the situation we are experiencing, but they are also helping in whatever way they can”.
Registrations start at € 18 for the juvenile and youngest categories, € 20 for the junior and infant categories, and € 25 for the absolute and veterans category. All registrants will receive a welcome pack.
As it happened in the forty-second edition, the awards have been extended to the quarter-finalists.
The tournament, in which the participation of more than 300 tennis players is expected, is punctual for the official ranking of the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) and one of the oldest in the Valencian Community.
