Torrevieja commemorates the European mobility week with different activities that will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, September 22

With the motto "In Torrevieja we move towards sustainability", the City Council will hold a photography contest through healthy routes, where commemorative posters will be placed where people must take a picture with the poster found on the routes and upload it to social networks using the hashtag #EnTorreviejanosmovemosporlasostenibilidad. The photograph that receives the most likes will be the winner of an electric skate that has been donated for this celebration. The healthy routes marked are the Levante dike, the Juan Aparicio promenade and the La Mata lagoon walkway.

In the afternoon, a skating and bicycle circuit will be held to encourage the use of these vehicles among the youngest, in which the City Council has the participation of the Torrevieja Triathlon clubs, the Torrevieja Patina club and the Patina Torrevieja club. All participants will receive a commemorative diploma. This activity will take place on the Paseo de la Libertad, which will be closed to traffic from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This traffic cut in the area aims to make all the public aware that we must reduce CO2 emissions to the environment, using alternative means of transport that are less harmful to the atmosphere.
