The Paseo Vistalegre hosted a spectacular morning handball

The Paseo Vistalegre was completely transformed to host the second stop of the 'Handbol al Carrer' circuit, an activity organized by the Valencian Community Handball Federation and which has the support of the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation within the framework of the previous actions to the celebration of the Women's Handball World Championship in three Valencian cities.

More than 300 athletes gathered near the port of Torrevieja to enjoy outdoor sports from all over the province of Alicante. From the youngest to the most veteran, they could enjoy the four enabled courts, in addition to the gaming area specialized in handball within the FBMCV's commitment to innovation in collaboration with Valengame.

Diana Box, sports councilor of the Torrevieja City Council, stressed that "once again our city is full of sport" to "take it out onto the streets and publicize the Women's Handball World Cup that we will enjoy in December." Box thanked "the impulse of the Handball Federation of the Valencian Community" and the collaboration of the local club to "ensure that the event has gone perfectly and is remembered by all".

The president of the Valencian Community Handball Federation, Pedro Fuertes, was "satisfied with the mobilization of young and old" in the promotional action for the Women's Handball World Cup. Fuertes highlighted "the indispensable support" of the Torrevieja City Council and the CBM Mare Nostrum, as well as "the participation of nearby clubs that have wanted to join the street handball party."
