Today Friday, December 10, starting at 6:00 p.m., hundreds of Torrevieja residents of different nationalities, mainly of British and Scandinavian origin, will meet at the nineteenth edition of the Concert of Christmas Carols in English, called Carols in the Square, organized by the Department of International Residents of the Torrevieja City Council since 2002.

The concert will be held this year as a novelty on the stage of the Plaza de la Constitución and will be attended by the Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, the Deputy Mayor of the City Council, Rosario Martínez, the Councilor for International Residents, Gitte Lund, as well as good part of the Government team.

The music for the concert will be performed by the Royal British Legion Band , conducted by David Last and made up mainly of retired British musicians and residents of Torrevieja, which will be accompanied by the Crescendo choir and the participation of singers Stevie Spit, Lucía from Spain and Shani Ormiston.

Once again, it is expected that the Plaza de la Constitución will remain small to congregate hundreds of international residents, many of them dressed in the typical costume of Santa Claus, who each year at this time participate in this original Carols in the Square, in the one that also sings typical songs of their countries of origin.
