The Councilor for Culture and Vice President of the "Joaquín Chapaprieta" Municipal Institute of Culture, Antonio Quesada, reports that during his stay in the port of Torrevieja, from October 2021 to January 2022, the Pascual Flores paileboat has been visited by a total of 1,298 people, including individual visits and school visits. Likewise, several outings called Baptism of the Sea were carried out, which some 200 people have been able to enjoy sailing on the historic sailboat.

Antonio Quesada has indicated that although there are still several commitments in maritime events to be closed, the Pascual Flores will be present at major maritime events this year 2022, both in Spain and in Europe, visiting, at a minimum, ports in France, Italy, Portugal and Germany. Specifically, its presence has already been confirmed at the Escala a Sete Biennial Festival (France, from April 12 to 18), the V Escala a Castellón (from April 21 to 25), the V edition of Escala a Castelló (from 21 to April 25) with the participation of the ships Nao Victoria, Galeón Andalucía and the Schooner Cervantes Saavedra; the Iacobus Maris Route from Genoa, Valencia, Seville, Porto to Vigo (from May 23 to June 24); the Sail Bremerhaven Maritime Festival (Germany, from August 17 to 21), and the V Centenary Maritime Festival in Seville (from September 6 to 11).

In this way, the Pascual Flores pailebote will continue this year in Europe being the great tourist ambassador to publicize the culture and seafaring roots of the city of Torrevieja.

Throughout all the ports visited in 2021, the Pascual Flores has found a great reception from the public and the media and important personalities have toured its decks, such as the Ambassador of Spain in Germany, the Consul General of Spain in Hamburg (Bremerhaven) and the maritime authorities and the Deputy Mayor of La Rochelle, who also welcomed the crew at the city's Yacht Club Classique.

Throughout the tour of these European cities (Mazagón, A Coruña, Honfleur, Bremerhaven, Calais, La Rochelle, Bayonne and Castellón) the Pascual Flores has received more than 15,000 visitors, who have come on board to learn about its history and the fabulous Torrevieja's maritime heritage that this ship represents, as an itinerant "ambassador" for the tourist and cultural promotion of the city, and a symbol of the classic Mediterranean sailboats.

Already in the month of October, after the Scale to Castelló , the pailebote returned to its hometown of Torrevieja where it has remained until January of this year 2022. Currently the Pascual Flores is in Huelva, where it will undergo maintenance work before embarking on your journey through Europe.
