Awarded the sports activities and schools service, rescue and lifeguard service, and receptionists for an amount of 750,737.75 euros per year

Last Friday, in an ordinary session of the Local Government Board (JGL), the award was approved for the contracting of the service of sports activities and schools, rescue and first aid service, and receptionists to the company ESATUR XXI SL, for a total amount of 750,737.75 euros per year. The award for the provision of this service will have a duration of four years (two years plus two extensions), so the total price until its completion will be 3,002,951 euros.

In total there will be around 80 workers who will carry out this service for the municipal sports schools. The monitors will train in the following schools: athletics, soccer, futsal, basketball, handball, judo, hockey, rugby, swimming and adapted athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, volleyball, table tennis, triathlon, cycling, tennis, paddle tennis and maintenance gymnastics .

In addition, they will teach directed activity classes such as: gap, zumba, pilates, body combat and swimming courses.

The contract with the company ESATUR XXI also includes the following commitments offered:

-10 monitors with a university degree related to the activity to be carried out.

-Investment of 10,000 euros per year in sports equipment as an improvement for the provision of the service.

-81% of the staff assigned to the provision of the service will be contracted as permanent.
