The II National Amateur Theater Contest "Raúl Ferrández", which will take place between March 21 and 25, both inclusive, at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, at 8:30 p.m. (free admission until full capacity) has announced the groups selected for this edition, having presented 26 companies from all over Spain, being among all the following selected:
-On Monday, March 21, the company Teatro en Construcción, from Elche, will perform with the show “ Huanita ”.
-On Tuesday, March 22, the company The Crow Teatre, from Valencia, will perform with the show “ Plan B or the fall of man ”.
-On Wednesday, March 23, the company Atrote Teatro, from Elche, will perform with the show " Don Quixote in hell ".
-On Thursday, March 24, the company Acontracorriente Teatro, from Seville, will perform with the show “ Aeterna Antígona ”.
-On Friday, March 25, the company Amigos del Teatro de Castellón will perform, with the show “ One month you, one month me ”.

The event coincides with World Theater Day, so in addition to the awards ceremony, the 2022 Theater Manifesto will be read by César Bernard, Raúl Ferrández's former teacher. The evening will end with the musical comedy “ La Mama ”, written and directed by our actor, singer and artist Jesús García Gallera.
