The Councilor for Youth of the Torrevieja City Council, Domingo Paredes, reports that the registration period for a new training course for young people enrolled in the national Youth Guarantee system, specifically the Comprehensive Qualification and Employment Program (PICE) is now open. ), thanks to the collaboration agreement between the City Council and the Alicante Chamber of Commerce.
Paredes has indicated that it is the course of Auxiliary Activities of Commerce and Warehouse, of 155 hours, with official certification and that it will begin in the facilities of the Youth Information and Animation Center (CIAJ) on May 4, in the afternoon of 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Students will learn with a complete program of modules that include social skills, customer service, consumers, electronic commerce, warehouse, picking, and occupational safety and hygiene, among others. In addition, and within the same training program, they will obtain professional food handler and forklift operator cards.
The requirements to enroll in the course are: to be between 16 and 29 years old, to be
registered in Torrevieja and be a beneficiary of the national Youth Guarantee system, for which those interested can also manage it at the CIAJ.
