Torrevieja City Council continues with its firm commitment to consolidate the municipality as a benchmark in tourism and, therefore, will be present with a stand at Alicante Gastronómica, an event that takes place from Friday, September 23, to Monday, September 26, at the Alicante Trade Fair Institution (IFA).

The Councilor for Tourism, Rosario Martínez, accompanied by the president of the Association of Hospitality Companies of Torrevieja and Comarca, José Ignacio Pastor, has announced that this year they are betting on a new and innovative stand design, which will be representative of the tradition and essence of our city. In this there will be space for: General Information Point Stand, Tasting / tasting area and there will also be screens that show the presentations and tastings and the most traditional products of Torrevieja. With this, added Martínez Chazarra, "we wanted to give a more institutional package to the participation in the largest gastronomic fair in Spain".

In this fourth edition of Alicante Gastronómica, it is worth highlighting the participation of Capi's Restaurant with its chef José Luis Cases in the 2nd Salted Tapas Contest, which will take place at IFA on Monday, September 26, at 1:00 p.m.

The mayor of Tourism has thanked the support of Gastronomic Alicante for being a showcase that gives visibility to the food products of Torrevieja and has invited the public to visit the stand.
