On Saturday, October 22, CEIP Cuba celebrates its 50th anniversary (1972-2022)

The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, the Councilor for Education, Ricardo Recuero, and the director of CEIP Cuba, Ana María Torres, presented the events scheduled for the 50th anniversary of the Cuba school this morning.

The celebration of these Golden Anniversary of the oldest school in Torrevieja will be at the Colegio Cuba itself (Zoa Street Access) that will open its doors at 6:30 p.m., beginning the act at 7:15 p.m.

The mayor of Torrevieja, a former student of Colegio Cuba, has congratulated its director and all the teachers of this center for having prepared this great party to celebrate this event, as well as the departments of Education and Festivals for having collaborated intensely in will come true.

The event will begin with a concert offered by the Torrevieja Youth Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by the Municipal School of Dance, which will perform a repertoire that will delight all those present.

In the different tracks of the schoolyard we will find posters with the year of birth of the students and it will be the starting point to meet again both with the classmates and with the teachers with whom they shared so much.

There will also be a photocall and a projection screen of photographs of the Colegio Cuba from 1972, the year it was inaugurated, to the present day.

Subsequently, some bars and food trucks will be opened by the “Nueva Fraternidad” Charity Association, with all kinds of food and drinks at affordable prices for everyone and Frank Anthony Dj will be in charge of livening up the evening playing songs from all eras.

As a final culmination, all attendees will be able to enjoy a pop/rock music concert by the music group "Movida EGB", which will surely transport us to those years we spent at school and will make us dance nonstop to the rhythm of these songs.

In short, it promises to be an evening for remembrance, reunion, emotion, laughter, dancing and above all to congratulate a public school that, from 1972 to the present day, has made all its students happy and More importantly, it has left a mark on his heart.
