The repainting works of the horizontal road markings in La Mata are finished

The Councilor for Traffic of the City Council of Torrevieja, Federico Alarcón, has reported the progress of the repainting of the horizontal road markings of the entire municipal area, some work that is being carried out at a good pace.

In the early hours of yesterday, the repainting was completed in the entire district of La Mata, corresponding to Zone 1, and during the next week the work will be completed on Turret 3 and Lago Sal, thus finishing zone 8. Zone 2, which It has already started in Nueva Torrevieja, it will continue during the next few weeks. This zone extends from the avenue of the Valencian Courts to the coast.

Federico Alarcón has recalled that the action program has divided the municipality of Torrevieja into several zoned sectors, anticipating that the repainting of each of them will last approximately one month, so he hopes that in a year the entire city will be completed. The repainting work includes up to a total of five work teams that carry out the actions, the vast majority of them at dawn, in order to affect the city's road traffic as little as possible.

Federico Alarcón has recalled that the award of this important contract has a duration of 4 years, with an amount of 450,000 euros per year, which represents a global amount of 1,800,000 euros (VAT included). The winning company is imesAPI SA
