The gastronomy of Torrevieja, present at the Madrid International Tourism Fair (FITUR)

Today Wednesday has Torrevieja Gastronómica 202 3 Hospitality Calendar presented on the video wall of the stand of the Costa Blanca Tourist Board at the Madrid International Tourism Fair (FITUR), with the presence of the Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the Councilor for Tourism , Rosario Martínez, accompanied by the president of the Association of Hospitality Companies of Torrevieja and Region, José Ignacio Pastor.

Likewise, a showcooking by the Torrevieja chef Mónica Andreu has been the first of the actions with which Torrevieja has presented its gastronomic offer, surprising with a traditional seafood gazpacho from our land, as well as the elaboration of a rice with anchovies typical of Torrevieja. A gazpacho and a rice tasted by those attending the fair stand and that have been liked by all those present, including the president of the Provincial Council of Alicante, Carlos Mazón.

The Torrevieja Gastronomic Calendar 2023 will start in February and end in November. It will begin with "Cake and coffee - The Sweetest Week" from February 13 to 19, "an initiative that enters the calendar for the first time and that puts the sweet dish in this program that we present today", highlighted the president of the association, José Ignacio Pastor.

During the month of March the 10th Edition of "Arroces de Torrevieja" will take place from March 20 to 26. Then, from Monday 17 to Saturday 23 April, the 9th edition of “Nos va de tapas” will arrive.

In May it will be the turn of the third edition of "Croquetas al gusto", and already in the month of June the Gastronomic Days "Torrevieja and the Sea" will arrive. The International Tapas Day In Torrevieja will return on Saturday, September 30, followed by the VIII Gastrocultural Festival of Vega Baja "Gastrovegabaja" on October 20, 21 and 22, ending in November with the 10th edition of "Nos Vamos de Tapas” from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 and from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 November.
