Torrevieja's cultural and musical agenda has been presented today, January 19, within the framework of the Madrid International Tourism Fair (FITUR) with the advance of some of the artists who will be part of the third Brilla Torrevieja music festival. The presentation, which took place at the Costa Blanca stand, was attended by the mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, the councilors for Culture and Tourism, José Antonio Quesada and Rosario Martínez, along with the promoters of the festival and the managers of Torrevieja Culture.

Brilla Torrevieja will celebrate its third edition from July 30 to August 20 with national artists of the stature of India Martínez (Sunday, July 30), Melendi (Thursday, August 4) and Loquillo (Saturday, August 12), as the promoter of the event, Javier Riquelme, has advanced. The rest of the artists who will perform at the Parque Antonio Soria concert venue have yet to be revealed, and they will be accompanied by sports, children's and cultural activities.

With this initiative, the Brilla Torrevieja festival takes a 360º turn for the promotion of Torrevieja, not only at a musical and cultural level, but also giving a leap to the city's tourist scene. It has established itself as a tourist reference in the area in which you immerse yourself for almost a month.

The last edition of the festival took place over 20 days, with three stages located in three tourist areas of the city. The main one, which was located in the Antonio Soria Park, received national and international artists such as Sebastián Yatra, Luis Fonsi, Taburete and Lola Índigo. More than 50,000 people enjoyed a summer full of music, which had a direct and indirect economic impact on the city of almost three million euros.

Brilla Torrevieja held its first edition in the historic site of the Eras de la Sal, and for seven days in a row 7,000 people attended this emblematic space of the city, despite the restrictions derived from the COVID-19 pandemic. The poster for the first edition was made up of Pol Granch, Niña Pastori, God Save The Queen, Jorge Drexler, El Canijo de Jerez, Uña y Carne and Sidecars.

CULTURA TORREVIEJA PRESENTS THE NEWS OF ITS PROGRAMMING FOR THIS 2023

Cultural programming has also made a space, for the first time, at the Madrid International Tourism Fair. The new products that this new year brings with it have been presented, such as the cultural and gastronomic experiences that will have their pilot test at the Fito and Fitipaldis concert at the International Auditorium, which has already sold all its seats. Diana Navarro, Ángel Martín or "Martita de Graná" are some of the artists that will arrive in Torrevieja during the first half of 2023.

The musicals Forever , a tribute to Michael Jackson, and Dumbo, are part of this cultural program that continues to bet on the greatest variety of cultural products at the Municipal Theatre, at the International Auditorium and at other cultural facilities.

In 2022, with the implementation of this public-private management model, more than 65 cultural events of all kinds were held, with the participation of more than 35,000 spectators.
