The City Council begins the procedures so that the traditional kiosk "El Tintero" on Playa del Cura is classified as a good of local relevance

The Local Government Board of the Torrevieja City Council has approved the Tender Document and corresponding expense for the contracting of the preparation of the modification report of the PGOU for the cataloging of the Kiosk "El Tintero", as well as its base. The councilor-secretary of the JGL, Federico Alarcón reported yesterday at a press conference of this approval that has a corresponding expense of 10,890 euros.

In this way, the City Council approves this administrative procedure to obtain the protection of the traditional Kiosk "El Tintero" of the central beach of El Cura as an Asset of Local Relevance. A unique and original building by the sea, which has more than 80 years of history and is part of the urban landscape of the city of Torrevieja.

The mayor, Eduardo Dolón, has always defended that the intention of his government team is to protect this building as an Asset of Local Relevance so that it does not disappear from the urban landscape of Torrevieja.

AWARDED THE CONTRACT FOR THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL STUDY OF THE ACEQUIÓN CANAL

The Governing Board held yesterday approved the contracting of the archaeological and historical study of the Acequión Canal, to the company ARPA PATRIMONIO SL, for an amount of 17,787 euros (VAT included). The duration of the contract is three months, and this term does not include the approval of the document by the Ministry of Culture, which must be provided once notified even if the term has been exceeded. In the event of having to modify the report because the Ministry considers it so, a period of one month will be available to provide the new report.

The engineering work of the Acequión channel of the Torrevieja salt pans is the oldest in the city. The first mention of the project appears in the year 1386, when King Pedro IV of Aragon authorized Orihuela to transform the lagoon into a lagoon for a fish hatchery. This company was not carried out, since the work on the canal began in 1482, when King Ferdinand II of Aragon authorized the Orihuela Council to build the canal. After several interruptions, the works were considered finished in the year 1509, with the length of the channel being 1,684 Castilian rods, equivalent to 1,500 meters.

APPROVED THE FILE FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF THE PYROTECHNICS SERVICE FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS

The Local Government Board also approved yesterday the hiring of the pyrotechnics service, divided into two lots:

-Lot 1: Fireworks shots, on the occasion of the celebration of various festivities.

-Lot 2: Drafting of various technical documents for the processing of authorizations before the Government Sub-delegation or other public entities.

The base tender budget amounts to 180,870 euros (annual total 74,740 euros + VAT) and the duration of the contract is established at two years and two possible extensions of one year each. It should be noted from this new contracting file that the reduction in the sound level of the shots will be assessed, sustainability criteria will be included for the leftover fireworks and the commitment of the successful bidder on his own to process the permits before the Government Sub-delegation.

AWARDED CONTRACT OF PAYMENT, FINANCIAL AND BANKING SERVICES FOR THE MUNICIPAL TREASURY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TORREVIEJA

Federico Alarcón also reported that this Local Government Board was awarded the simplified open procedure in its abbreviated modality for the contracting of payment, financial and banking services for the Municipal Treasury of the Torrevieja City Council, to the commercial company Banco de Sabadell, SA

Banco de Sabadell offers Virtual POS for modalities 1, 2 and 3 and POS-PC for modalities 1 and 2. For the collection of services, it will charge monthly commissions in the linked checking account, with daily payment of income and , subsequently, it will send a certificate of the corresponding note. Likewise, Banco de Sabadell has fixed points of sale (PC-TPV, which reconciles with the C60) and mobile points of sale (physical POS, which does not reconcile with the C60).

The contract will be executed in accordance with the specifications that govern it and its offer. A proposal that is made in favor of the only company presented and admitted, and comply with the minimum conditions required, in accordance with the signed technical report

The duration of the contract will be four years.
