The Local Government Board approves the contracting of the comprehensive repair works of the six blue sports courts, for an amount of €845,223.86 (VAT Included)

The delegate councilor of the Local Government Board of the Torrevieja City Council, Federico Alarcón, informs that the contracting of the integral repair works of the six blue sports courts (R&D) has been approved, based on the Framework Agreement for contracting construction and urbanization works.

Alarcón has indicated that the base budget for the contract tender amounts to 845,223.86 euros (VAT included), with an execution period of 3 months, so that the works can begin during the next month of May.

The six blue slopes that are going to be repaired are located in the Plaza de Europa, the La Siesta urbanization, the Los Altos urbanization, Torreblanca (next to the Ciudad del Mar public school) and two in La Torreta III.

The repair work on these outdoor sports courts includes all the renovation of the walls and perimeter fencing, the repair and repainting of the floors, the replacement of all sports equipment (basketball hoops, goals and nets) and the Changing all the lighting to LED lights to achieve significant energy savings.
