From April 21 to 23, the city of the Costa Blanca has dressed up in fashion with Torrevieja Weekend, an initiative by the designer Eduardo Navarrete and the Torrevieja City Council, which in its second edition has featured faces such as celebrities Antonio Pagudo, Arkano, La Terremoto from Alcorcón, Luis Miguel Seguí, Lucía Jiménez, Marta Belenguer and the Varry Brava, in addition to an audience of 8,000 attendees who have completed the capacity of Paseo Vistalegre in Torrevieja which, for a few hours, has been
turned into a catwalk.
The local commerce, the designers of the area, the gastronomy and the tourism of Torrevieja have become protagonists of a gala that has shown from the designs of the consecrated Maison Mesa, former creative director of firms such as Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Jesús del Pozo, to Enneges, pioneers in the technique of upcycling in fashion at a national level, in addition to the varied proposals of the shops of the
city.
Hosted by the designer Eduardo Navarrete and his team of familiar faces, the gala held on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. closed with a performance by Varry Brava and live music by DJ Agustín Cascales, the final touch of a day which has featured a live rap by the artist Arkano.

This particular footbridge, which last year was awarded the title of being the longest in Spain, has been part of a series of activities ranging from visiting tourist spots on the Costa Blanca such as the Las Lagunas de la Mata and Torrevieja to a walking route through local shops in the area, a vital muscle for the city's economy that is supported by celebrities and the national press.

Participating local designers: Teresa Mateo, Anahi, Moda de Nata.

Participating local businesses: Pink Velvet, Joyería Hernández, Nichy Seyjo, Óptica Llamussi, Me and Mi, Betun, Oxanna, Óptica Mar, Victoria Alarcón, Arena, Óptica Chantal and Riera.
