The magic of the Magician Yunke, the playwright of El Brujo and La Zarzuela de la Corte del Pharaoh complete the cultural offer of the week

The Torrevieja Municipal Theater hosts a top-level program this coming weekend. Three incredible shows that will make the Torrevieja public feel the magic, the soul of Valle Inclán and have fun in a classic zarzuela in a weekend full of culture.

We start on Friday, at 7:00 p.m., with the Magician Yunke and his latest magic show "Origin". The Magician Yunke, whom many Spaniards have begun to know as a result of his constant appearances on television programs such as "Por Arte de Magia" and "El Hormiguero", and who has been awarded as one of the best magicians worldwide, will appear at the Municipal Theater to surprise us with their tricks and great illusions that will make the public have a unique experience, even get excited by experiencing new sensations and remembering when they were little. A first class show for the whole family.

On Saturday, June 17, at 7:00 p.m., we will have the actor and playwright Rafael Álvarez, better known as El Brujo, with us to delight us with his work El Alma de Valle-Inclán. During confinement, El Brujo was inspired by this unique man with a vibrant life to create this work. He tells us how he alleviated his melancholy and how he cured him of the circumstances we were experiencing. In the words of El Brujo: “Valle Inclán is mysterious and extravagant, romantic and aesthetic. His soul moves me."

Cultura Torrevieja closes the weekend with La Corte de Faraón. A classic of the lyrical work, performed by the Alicante Lyric Company, which will take place on Sunday, June 18, at 7:00 p.m. A fun, spicy and exciting musical comedy that mixes elements of operetta, zarzuela, revues and even couplets, which has been made into a film on several occasions, and which will be liked by all audiences.

On the other hand, in the month of July the youngest members of the family cannot miss the musical Tadeo Jones: La Tabla Esmeralda, in which the best-known animated character and box office hit in Spanish cinema will arrive in the form of a musical to entertain the whole family. In addition to July 17-19, the Great Acrobatic Circus of China, a unique show with more than 30 artists on stage, most of them Olympic medalists and some from the famous Cirque du Soleil (Circus of the Sun) will make a stop in Torrevieja to amaze us with his impressive stunts.
