The Councilor for Culture, Antonio Quesada, and the director of Culture Torrevieja, Lalo Díez, presented this morning the September-December 2023 Cultural Programming, a wide and varied offer, highlighting the presence of the Spanish singer Vanesa Martín; Peter, the musical; Mayumaná; Luis Zahera, in monologue; Coco, children's musical; Jamming Sessions; Juan Dávila or The Nutcracker.

This same week, September 28 and 29, the 35th International Choral Meeting will be held at the Municipal Theater, in which each year choirs from all over Spain come together to offer us intense days of concerts and gatherings.

As a summary, during the month of October Torrevieja will host numerous concerts by different musical entities and local artists. For example, from the Orfeón de Torrevieja, comes his “Love Song”, the local artist Bervera will also perform with the presentation of his new album, or the Symphony Orchestra, with its concert at the International Auditorium under the name of “Grandes soloists.”

During the month of November, among many others, the Casa de Andalucía association will offer its traditional Flamenco Encounter. It should be noted that during this month the festivities are celebrated in honor of Santa Cecilia, patron saint of musicians, and it will be when two of the most renowned musical entities, the Unión Musical Torrevejense and Los Salerosos, will hold separate concerts, where they will perform the best of their interpretations in honor and tribute to their patron saint.

Come the month of December and on the occasion of the Christmas season, a multitude of concerts and musical events will be held in the different cultural spaces of Torrevieja. Among all of them, special mention will be made of the Christmas concerts offered by the Orfeón de Torrevieja, the Unión Musical and the one held by the Young Symphony Orchestra together with the “Sette Voci”.

The Department of Culture, through the “Joaquín Chapaprieta” Culture Institute and Torrevieja Culture, continues to commit to complementing the municipal cultural agenda with a wide range of offers, aimed at all audiences and all tastes.

In this program, in addition to great musicals, plays or big-name comedians, it is worth highlighting the great concert of the season that will be performed by Vanesa Martín, one of the Spanish artists who arouses the most interest nationwide, who will present her 'PLEASURES AND SINS' tour.

The Malaga native will offer a unique show, with new scenery and new repertoire, in which there will be no shortage of hits like 'Complicidad', 'Polvo de Maripas' or 'Inventas', but also new songs from her eighth album, recently nominated in several categories. to the Latin Grammys 2023 (Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and Best Packaging Design).

It will be on Saturday, November 19, at 8:00 p.m., at the International Auditorium. Ticket sales are carried out through official channels such as the culturatorrevieja.com website and the Municipal Theater Box Office, and will be priced from 25 euros.

ADVANCE NEW SEASON 2024

In advance of the new 2024 season, in January there will be three major concerts at the International Auditorium. It will begin on January 13 with the concert of Sidecars, who arrives in Torrevieja with the best Spanish pop-rock, on the tour to present their seventh album “Trece”, where they will perform their new songs and their usual hits.

Next, on January 14, he will perform at Torrevieja Café Quijano. A group that, after 23 years of crowning charts and more than two decades exhibiting our music throughout Latin America, the United States and Spain, arrives at the International Auditorium with its “Manhattan Tour”.

Finally, on February 9, 2024, the virtuoso violinist of Lebanese origin Ara Malikian will make a stop at the International Auditorium as part of his world tour.
