The Torrevieja City Council and Acciona implement the "Cityintouch" incident app

The Torrevieja City Council, in collaboration with ACCIONA, has implemented the “CITY IN TOUCH” application to improve the efficiency of the municipality's street cleaning, waste collection and transportation service, as well as the maintenance of its coasts, in addition to collecting incidents of Public Roads.

From these municipal areas, work has been done to make it a joint tool and thus easier for the user. We will continue to include other services of this city council in this same App to continue unifying in a single application all possible incidents that citizens may request to be repaired or corrected.

Citizens can now report an incident or request information from any of the services of:

- Beach cleaning

- Street cleaning

- Waste collection

- Repair of sidewalks and pedestrian paths

- Repair of asphalt and traffic roads.

- Repair of urban furniture.

Through this application, the City Council and ACCIONA make available to citizens a tool that brings the service closer to users in order to achieve a cleaner and more sustainable Torrevieja. The application is free for all citizens of the municipality and can be downloaded on both Android and IOS devices.

“CTY in Touch” allows the citizens of Torrevieja to be notified of any incident they detect regarding the urban cleaning service, such as, for example, the overflow of or lack of containers, broken litter bins, etc. Once the incident is notified, the citizen will be able to know its status at all times, until it is resolved. Additionally, through the application, you can locate the closest containers depending on the type of waste, as well as consult news of interest regarding the service. Likewise, the application includes the possibility of detecting incidents on Public Roads for repair.

In the Urban Cleaning Department section you can give notices such as:

• Urban cleaning (animal excrement, graffiti, stains around the container or trash can and stains on the floor)
• Containers (damaged, overflowed, burned, request)
• Trash cans (damaged, missing, overflowing)
• Goods and pruning (accumulation in container area, door to door or uncontrolled discharge)
• Others (posters and banners, weeds on sidewalks, debris, marine fauna and beach)
