The Youth Councilor of the Torrevieja City Council, Domingo Paredes, reports that the new autumn Youth Agenda programmed by the Youth Information and Animation Center (CIAJ) corresponding to the last quarter of 2023 is now available.
A total of 10 activities and events make up the new youth programming, highlighting a trip to Port Aventura on the weekend of November 4 and 5, with limited places. Before that, on Saturday, October 28, the VI “Terrorífico” horror film short festival will be held, organized jointly by Juventud, the University Headquarters of the UA in Torrevieja and the La Comarca Youth Association.
This youth association also offers the event “Las jornadicas” on Sunday, October 22 at the CMO, with video games, role-playing and board games as well as other events with the same theme over several weekends at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center and the CIAJ.
Regarding training, the Official Leisure and Free Time Monitor Course for Children and Youth Education stands out, which is part of the PICE program for young people enrolled in Youth Guarantee; a Manga Drawing Course for young people from 12 to 17 years old and an interesting Creative Writing Course.
The councilor recalled that, in addition, the twice-monthly inclusive leisure outings and Conversations in English with British volunteers at the CIAJ continue, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
For the Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Purísima, specifically on Saturday, December 2, the Department of Youth organizes the Gymkhanica, which this year celebrates its IX edition, with tests by teams of young people on the Torrevieja culture and traditions around the town. urban of the city.
