​​​​​​​The Local Government Board approves the tender for the Greenway adaptation project

The Torrevieja City Council has approved in the Local Government Board (JGL) the tender for the contracting of the project service and construction management of the repair of the Greenway, with a base tender budget of 85,699 euros and an execution period of two months to draft the project.

The councilor-secretary of the Local Government Board, Federico Alarcón, has reported that the Torrevieja City Council has an agreement with ADIF, by which the use of the Greenway is transferred to us and, now, we have proposed a renewal action in the same.

The Greenway at its terminus in Torrevieja has a length of 6.3 linear kilometers and some 92,000 square meters of surface, running parallel to the CV-90 to the municipality of Los Montesinos. The global action will involve an estimated municipal investment of one million euros, which will be defined by the definitive project. This adaptation project will involve landscaping this entire space for the enjoyment of citizens.

Finally, the City Council has issued an invitation with a request for offer, within the period and in the manner determined in the bidding document for the contract based on the awardee of Lot 3 of the Framework Agreement:
