The Councilor for Education of the Torrevieja City Council, Ricardo Recuero, together with the president of Ars Aetheria, Mamen Mateo and the director of the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra, José Francisco Sánchez, presented this morning the “Family Concert” that will take place on Sunday, March 10, at 12:00 p.m., at the International Auditorium of Torrevieja. On this occasion, the OST will perform the Symphonic Tale “Peter and the Wolf”, by Sergei Prokofiev.
This is an initiative of the Department of Education together with the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra and its purpose is to bring classical music and, especially, symphony orchestras to the little ones. The objective of this initiative is none other than to awaken, among the youngest, the desire to learn to play an instrument. This family concert will have children as its main protagonist, who will have the opportunity to go on stage and play instruments alongside the musicians of the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra.
