Learn to create content with your mobile phone from Gustavo Giannini

The University Headquarters of Torrevieja, together with the Municipal Institute of Culture “Joaquín Chapaprieta”, presents the 40-hour seminar “Making films with smartphones” taught by the Argentine director Gustavo Giannini. It will begin next Tuesday, March 12, at 7:00 p.m., at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, with a duration of 10 weeks, ending on Friday, May 30. Gustavo Giannini is a director, screenwriter and producer of audiovisual media with 30 years of experience in the film and television industry. He stood out for his first feature film script "The Last Frontier", declared of National Interest in Argentina, or for the direction and production of television series such as "InEx", with pioneering digital effects on Prime-Time TV.

Although he develops all facets of creating a film, Gustavo Giannini stands out for the post-production of the works, being a specialist in Digital Art. Understanding the current technological evolution, the Argentine presents us with the seminar “Making movies with smartphones”, adapted to the technological reality we live in.

Over time, the mobile phone has become an essential tool in our daily lives, as it offers us more and more functions. The telephone has become a substitute object for many other single-functional products that we used 20 years ago. The development of functions that smartphones have undergone today allows us to create authentic audiovisual works, the only thing that is needed is a smartphone and the necessary knowledge.

The course will take place every Tuesday and Friday from March 12 at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, with the aim that its attendees learn to create complete audiovisual products using a mobile phone, from the development of the idea captured in a script until final post-production.
